There are so many questions in life that are unanswered. Why does the sun rise in the morning? Why do magnets stick together? Because everybody says so. Everybody. Sorry, had to get my Office reference in there right off the bat.
In all seriousness, we’re faced with moments of doubt over and over again each day. It’s in those moments that I ask myself, “What would Kathleen Matthew do?”
Kathleen Matthews is my combination of an alter ego meets big sister slash best friend. Personifying the best version of myself is invaluable when it comes to those day to day or big picture decisions. We’ve all heard that advice where you should talk to yourself like you’d talk to a friend, right?
That’s what Kathleen Matthews embodies and she’s the inspiration and voice behind this creative studio. I often fear that I’m a Jack (or Jill) of all trades, master of none. But what would Kathleen Matthews do with that uncertainty?
She’d embrace it and proudly flaunt it with flair but without ego. She’d unashamedly announce to the world that she’s interested in promoting meaningful marketing initiatives, including graphic design, selling purposeful products, and cultivating conversation within communities. She’d create a space where she’s able to do all of the above and then some.
This site, and in particular this blog, is my creative expression, free of fear and self-doubt. It’s my personal answer to the WWKMD question. I’m bursting at the seams with excitement to bring more colorful creativity to your life in my mockup designs and also feature unique conversations with insightful, powerful women. That’s where we’re starting anyway; I can’t wait to see where we go and grow from here.
